She will be amazed at the fantastic harvest of black, shiny berries of excellent taste. Do not forget about the miraculous blueberries.

Blackberry - delicious juicy berries collected in luxurious brushes. The berries are purple-black, weighing up to 5 grams of sweet and sour taste with a pleasant aroma. These berries contain a lot of vitamins and healthy substances. They improve metabolism, which is very important for diabetics. They inhibit the aging process of the body due to the high content of antioxidants, lower the pressure of hypertensive patients, and also treat the common cold like ordinary raspberries. Blackberry is useful to everyone: children, the elderly and adults!

Like raspberries, blackberries require good lighting. She does not like low wetlands, prefers light soils: loamy and loamy sand, as well as organic fertilizers. Blackberries are planted in spring before buds open or in autumn, but so that the seedlings have time to root themselves. Planting is usually done in a trench way, for which they dig a trench 40 deep and 60-70 cm wide. About 10 kg of organic fertilizers, 200 g of superphosphate, 300 - 500 g of wood ash should be laid per one meter of trench. Fertilizers mix well with the ground and fall asleep in the trench. Seedlings are planted in the holes to the same depth as they grew before. The planted bushes are abundantly watered, mulched and shortened stems.

In dry summers, blackberry bushes need to be watered, since its root system does not go in depth, but develops at the very surface of the soil.

After harvesting, the fertilized shoots are cut out: just like raspberries, blackberry shoots grow in the first year, and in the second year they bear fruit and die.
